On my Shadow album we did a reggae version of “Demon Wings” from my first album. The reason we did that is because I had a fever dream while sick with Covid and all I could hear in my mind was my first album with all the songs done in a reggae style. On the new album when I was worried that we didn’t have enough songs for a complete album I decided to redo Sun and the Moon in a reggae style. The session musicians are so good I knew it would sound great. It’s a really simple song to play and it’s actually easier to sing this version than the original.
